A Wish by Blue Sky

sitting here
watching
waiting
hoping
wishing.
i watch for you to show you care
i wait for you to show you care
i hope you care
i wish you cared.
sometimes the most painful thing is just to see you, happy without me
it's selfish, i know

happiness
is such a myth
happiness
does not exist
when you break the rules,
your heart gets broken.

Selfish

at least she told you
Don't ruin the moment for her
everyone knew it would happen
Don't ruin the moment for her
first one thing than the others
Don't ruin it for her
but you're still surprised
Don't ruin the moment for her
how come?
Do NOT ruin it for her

What I Want and Cannot Have by Kt N.

What i want and cannot have,

the cure may be the end of me.

All alone throughout the world,

no one can really understand.

To watch in pain, deep inside,

becoming angry, not knowing why.

Having the chance but knowing too soon,

that it will just end in a dull glowing moon.

to see it form, to see it end,

nothing gives pleasure, not even a friend.

the joy on the outside is nothing within.

Not knowing the reason, it feels i have sinned.

And in the forever changing moon, the crashing waves,

I have not swooned.

My heart has not lept, has not skipped a beat.

My heart has grown heavy, along with my feet.

And though I seem happy enough,

I always think back to the for tales above.

Though brief in speech, and not understanding

Another reason to conceal myself in my never landing

turn of emotion.

Chinese Take Out by Shorty

“Chinese takeout, how may I help you?”
I say into the phone on line two.
Secretly, I’m wishing they would hurry though,
Before line one hangs up and decides to sue.
But my wish is not to be granted, no siree,
For the demanding customer starts by shout, “NO MSG!”
They order eggrolls, sesame chicken, and pop, then ask the total price,
But when they hear it, they scream as if they had head lice!
I calmly ignore this and ask them “Anything more?”
“Hey, you better not be rude to me,” they holler, “or I’ll bring the police through your front door!”
Somewhat shaken, I politely say,
“I’m sorry, for this is not my best day.
May I take your order for anything else for which you might pay?”
“No, that’s it,” the customer says tartly, then asks,
“So this is Key’s CafĂ©?”

A Treasure by Mish

It flies in the oceans
swims through the sky
unnoticed by the passersby

Digging deep within oneself
Searching everywhere need no help

Gold, Silver, Red, Blue
The pot of gold still stands true

If you shall find it tell me so
It has a place but nowhere to go

Quack by The Hypocrite

This is the beginning
This is where you are from
This is where you learn

This is discovery,
playing, exploring

This is where you grow
This is where you talk
This is where you walk

This is falling,
getting up, trying again, and moving on

This is where you go to school
This is where you smile
This is where someone makes fun of you

This is your first friend,
your second friend and your best friend

This is where you get a bad grade
This is where you get in trouble
This is where you cry

This is comfort,
ice cream, people, your imagination

This is when your best friends move
This is when you have your first crush
This is when you don't know what to do

This is when you need someone
This is when I meet you

This is how I feel
This is how I am

This is happiness,
waking up to you, wishing it would never end

This is my story
This is your story

This is Love

This is us

This is it

This is life

An Escape from Reality by The Nice One

Outside the doors we wait to be let in
To a place where magic takes hold of lives
As the curtains open and the lights dim
Our world and those around us intertwine.

Upon the stage do the stories unfold
To give way to our imaginations
Unveiling the actors, both brave and bold,
Playing out our untold aspirations.

Unlocking hopes and wishes from the past,
You thwart the lives from which we tried to run
But back to our stale roles we will be cast
When curtains fall and all is said and done.

Yet even only for an hour or two,
I smile because I know my dreams came true.
